Okay. First, I love the game very much, I like how the endings are. Second, I NEEDED THOSE BGM ON PLATFORMS, I LOVE THE BGM SO MUCH THAT I CAN OPEN THE GAME AND THEN JUST STAY AT THE MAIN SCREEN LISTENING TO IT

this game is so good I was left wanting more, Jesse wanted us to live so I'm intrigued by his past, if it's no bother could you guys consider making a DLC or something like that?

Oh, it was such a neat game!

First of all, I appreciated the overall direction: the GUI and the art (sprites, backgrounds and CGs) looked absolutely gorgeous!! The nightfall/daybreak opposition is very interesting, and let's say I also appreciated the incorporation of flowers!

I also really enjoyed the music and the voice acting, it was all amazing!! Jesse's voice is a treat, and the music helped setting the mood and I loved its variations!

One word to describe this game: atmospheric, and I really love how everything contributed to setting up the atmosphere. Of course, all the things I previously mentioned, but also the narrative design (using riddles was a very neat and unique idea!) and the writing in general. I also really enjoyed the connection to the theme of the jam: while I think a more natural take would be to play the character having to either accept or not the morally ambiguous promise, the writing here chose a more unusual, more difficult, but wonderfully tackled path: we are the one making deals and promises. And even this subversion of the immediate idea gets subverted, but I'd rather let players discover how rather than spoil it here.

The endings all felt very satisfying writing-wise. I however have to admit the "best" ending is the one that touched me the most. I won't spoil, but GOODNESS, it soothed my heart! I also enjoyed how we can recollect the whole story thanks to all the endings and how, in the end, this game tackled the topic of sacrifice (which makes what I call the "best ending" even more empowering).

Finally... 4 DAYS????? 4 DAYS????????????????????? 4 DAYS??????????????????????????????????????????????? THIS WAS MADE IN 4 DAYS???????? GOODNESS, THIS IS SO IMPRESSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really, I have to congratulate the whole team, because it really was greatly done (and damn, I can only think of the programming team having to combine all the assets etc. efrvgedtgfd honestly, everyone did a wonderful job, I'm flabbergasted)!!

QUICK EDIT: Forgot to mention that I can't rate it because I wasn't part of the jam, but it does deserve its five stars!!
